Sooooooo, Let’s Get Started


Method 1: Open System Preferences and click on the Dock icon, and from the Position on Screen heading, choose Left, Bottom, or Right, as shown.

Method 2: Right-Click or Control-Click on the Dock divider shown here, then choose Position on Screen, and select Left, Bottom or Right.

Finally, Method 3: While holding down the Shift key, click and drag on the Dock divider shown to move the Dock Left, Right or back to the Bottom.

And that’s all there is to it, moving the Dock in OS X couldn’t be more simple.
