TRANSCRIPT:

In this episode: Three Dashboard Options in OS X Yosemite

OS X Yosemite offers three  ways on how Dashboard is Displayed.
You can either have Dashboard Off, As Space or As Overlay.

Soooo, Let’s Get Started with a Demo

You can choose how Dashboard is displayed in Yosemite by Launching System Preferences and click Mission  Control icon, you can now choose how you want to display the Dashboard by clicking on the drop down list and select your preferred option.

Off, self-explanatory.

As Space, just like in Mavericks by pressing the default Keyboard shortcut fn F12 or using the Mouse or Trackpad to navigate to the Dashboard Space.

Alternatively, have Dashboard  display As Overlay on the Desktop, by pressing the Default keyboard shortcut fn F12 or activating Hot Corners as shown here.

And that’s all there is to it.
