TRANSCRIPT:
In this really quick episode, How To Automatically Hide and Show the Menu Bar in OS X El Capitan.
Let’s jump right in with a demo.
Sooooooooo, Let’s Get Started.
Just like the option from System Preferences, to automatically hide and show the Dock, in previous versions of OS X.
New to El Capitan, is the ability to automatically hide and show the menu bar.
As show here, to activate the auto hide option for the menu bar, simply click the General icon from System Preferences and check the box “Automatically hide and show the menu bar”
To see the menu bar, move the pointer to the top of the screen, as shown.
And that’s all there is to it.
