In this episode, How To Turn Off Recent Contacts from the App Switcher Screen.

Sooooo, Let’s Get Started.

A new feature in iOS 8, is the ability to show the most recent contacts on the App Switcher Screen when double-clicking on the Home button.

If you want to turn this feature off, simply launch Settings and scroll down and click on “Mail, Contacts, Calendar” option.

Then scroll down and click on “Show In App Switcher” option.

Now simply turn off “Phone Favorites” and “Recents” as shown.

Now, whenever launching the App Switcher Screen, the recent contacts are gone or basically turned off.

Repeat the same process to turn back on.

And that’s all there is to it.
